A client needed support moving out of Raiser's Edge to Every Action, a cheaper fundraising solution that better met the needs of the organizational size. I consulted on setting up a new coding structure that fit the new CRM's functionality. I translated all Raiser's Edge data into the new CRM's tools, and bulk imported 10,000 constituents into the new database complete with action history, relationships, volunteer information, and event info.
A database that is bogged down with useless data can be annoying at best and destructive at worst. A recent client hired ELC as an hourly contractor to take care of the tedious clean-up tasks that they couldn't make time for on their team. Tasks included removing meaningless attributes, soft-crediting individual's for spouses gifts, removing outdated coding, and transferring data to other filterable fields.
Maybe you simply need help with your basic gift entry and acknowledgment tasks. An organization I worked with had not receipted donors for gifts received for over 7 months due to staff turnover. I immediately sent thank you letters by mail to all donors and implemented a weekly process for regular gift entry and receipting. I even drafted donor-centered thank you letters and systematized the stewardship process based on giving level and portfolio manager.
Is your team new to Raiser's Edge? I am happy to train new database managers on everything I know and get them feeling comfortable with everyday database tasks, along with the more complicated responsibilities required to be a database administrator.
An organization I worked for had never used the Rasier's Edge Event Module or the Volunteer Module. I trained the team on how these modules worked and helped them set up their systems and process for upcoming events and volunteer opportunities. I also built reports based on the coding structure that the Volunteer Coordinator could pull to produce reports for grant compliance.
